ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTEE (ACC)

For 2010, Robert Rathmell, Chairman, Chris Robbins, and Susan Ronk will make up the ACC. 

Please remember to get your ACC requests to the ACC Committee prior to starting any projects that improve or change the exterior of your home, fence, or yard.  If you are not sure if you need to file an ACC request or have questions about particular issues, please email or call Robert Rathmell at 972-881-3831. 

Change Request Forms should be submitted to the chairman, Robert Rathmell at 401 Love Bird Ln. A plastic box will (soon) be placed on the front porch where you can leave envelopes with your requests and pick up responses from the committee. If the box is not there, feel free to knock on the door. We will also accept emailed requests to ACC@murphyfarms.org if you scan in the required documents and drawings.

Please notice the updated Policy Statement which itemizes many of the things that require ACC approval as well as many things which do not require approval.

We are looking forward to working with you to help maintain the value and beauty of the Murphy Farms neighborhood.
 

All current documents for use by homeowners regarding architectural and landscape changes to homes and/or lots can be found on this web site under HOA Documents or listed below.
  1. Frequently Asked Questions – provides a description of the process, a guideline of projects and changes that require a change request form approved by the ACC. The guidelines are not meant to be an all-encompassing list – please contact an ACC member if you have any questions whether approval is needed for your specific project.

  3. ACC Change Request Form – this is the form to be completed and submitted to the ACC for your project. You should submit your request a minimum of 14 days prior to the anticipated start date of your project. Based on prior projects, a large complex project request should be submitted even sooner (recommended 30 days) as the committee frequently has required additional information not provided upon initial submission.
  4. ACC Change Notice of Completion – when your approved project has been completed, this form is to be completed and submitted to the ACC.
  5. ACC Request for More Information Form - If the ACC needs more information regarding the work to be done, they will send you this form to request more information from you.
