ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTEE (ACC)

Thanks to Patrick Tiner, Chris Robbins, and Jan Sumner for their great work on the ACC in 2007.

For 2008, Patrick Tiner, chairman, and Chris Robbins, and Susan Ronk will make up the ACC.  Please remember to get your ACC requests to them prior to starting any projects that improve or change the exterior of your home, fence, or yard.  If you are not sure if you need to file an ACC request, please email or call Patrick.

All current documents for use by homeowners regarding architectural and landscape changes to homes and/or lots can be found on this web site under HOA Documents or listed below. Please review the revised ACC Policy Statement Rules and Standards & ACC Reminders which will help you understand when you have to file ACC documents. The FAQ’s will also explain the process.  Questions regarding any of the forms should be directed to ACC@murphyfarms.org.
  1. Frequently Asked Questions – provides a description of the process, a guideline of projects and changes that require a change request form approved by the ACC. The guidelines are not meant to be an all-encompassing list – please contact an ACC member if you have any questions whether approval is needed for your specific project.
  2. Fence Repair/Replacement  & Exterior House Paint Q & A
  3. ACC Change Request Form – this is the form to be completed and submitted to the ACC for your project. You should submit your request a minimum of 14 days prior to the anticipated start date of your project. Based on prior projects, a large complex project request should be submitted even sooner (recommended 30 days) as the committee frequently has required additional information not provided upon initial submission.
  4. ACC Change Notice of Completion – when your approved project has been completed, this form is to be completed and submitted to the ACC.
  5. ACC Change Request Variance Form – this form is to be completed if you decide to make changes to specifications of a project for which you have received prior approval from the ACC. The most common variance request is to extend the allotted time to complete the project.

You may submit questions or electronic forms to ACC@murphyfarms.org .
